Our Commitment

A. Winston Outfitters is committed to providing a website, digital products, and customer experiences that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and follow relevant best practices and regulations (including, where applicable, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508).

Measures We Take

  • • Use semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate.
  • • Provide sufficient color contrast and focus indicators.
  • • Ensure forms have accessible labels/instructions and clear error states.
  • • Support keyboard navigation and logical tab order.
  • • Use descriptive alt text for meaningful imagery.
  • • Avoid conveying information by color alone.
  • • Test with common screen readers and browsers.
  • • Provide captions or transcripts for videos (if/when offered).

PDFs and Digital Downloads

Some of our products are PDF guides. We are working to provide/maintain tagged and structured PDFs that support screen readers. If you need an alternative format (e.g., accessible PDF, large print, HTML version), email [email protected] with the document name and we'll provide a suitable format.

Known Limitations

If you encounter an accessibility issue, please let us know. We consider all feedback and typically address issues in a timely manner, prioritizing critical barriers. Some legacy documents or third‑party content may not fully meet our standards, but we will make reasonable efforts to provide accessible alternatives upon request.

Compatibility & Supported Tech

We strive to support current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on desktop and mobile operating systems. Assistive technologies like VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, and JAWS are considered in our testing.

Feedback & Contact

If you experience difficulty with any part of the site or our documents, contact us at [email protected]. Please include:

  • • The page or document name/URL,
  • • The issue you encountered, and
  • • Your browser/assistive tech (if you wish to share).

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is an ongoing priority. We review our site and documents periodically and incorporate feedback into our roadmap.
